Piece of Berlin Wall, discovery of DNA, and discovery of the nuclear bomb

PHOTO: Structure of DNA "...Differing suggestions... 1) As a citizen, the end of the cold war, removal of Berlin wall, development of peaceful relations between eastern and western powers. 2 ) As a scientist, the greatest discovery of the century was that of the structure of DNA by Watson and Crick in 1953... 3) An equally important and largely American discovery is that of the nuclear bomb and the long range prospects of nuclear power. This will liberate the world from the threat of global warming because of the use of fossil fuels as our principal source of energy."
