CD-ROM of the human genome
"The few pieces still existing from our original model for DNA's double
helix have been incorporated into a newer version now exhibited at the
Science Museum in London. A most appropriate item to be placed in [the] time capsule would be a CD-ROM of the human genome (the book of human life) whose three billion letters will be largely sequenced by the end of 2000. It will be biology's most important gift ever to human society, being the instruction book for human development and functioning."
