Ronald E. Minsk

Ronald Minsk is a Director to the National Economic Council (NEC) at the White House. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he joined the NEC and the Clinton Administration in 1998. Mr. Minsk previously worked as a policy analyst at the Office of Management and Budget, where he was responsible for overseeing a wide range of agencies and programs with responsibility for environmental and energy policy, including the Department of Energy and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency at the Department of Commerce, and the Superfund, Indoor Air & Radiation, and Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know programs at the Environmental Protection Agency.

At the NEC, Mr. Minsk is responsible for coordinating Administration policies on environmental, energy, and agricultural issues. Among other responsibilities, Mr. Minsk coordinated level working groups that developed the President's energy restructuring proposal and its proposal to compensate contractor employees at the Department of Energy who were affected by occupational exposure to workplace hazards.

Before joining the Administration, Mr. Minsk practiced law at the Washington, D.C. office of Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy. Mr. Minsk is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Kennedy School of Government. He received his undergraduate degree in economics and accounting from New York University.
