Dublin

Dublin is the capital of the Republic of Ireland. Located near the middle of the country's east coast on the Irish Sea, Dublin is located near the Wicklow hills. Dublin is know for the wide streets that line the city's center, historical buildings, and splendid parks.

Among the historic sites in Dublin are the Charles Stewart Parnell monument, dedicated to the parliamentary leader of the 19th Century, the College Green, home to the statue of Thomas Moore, the famous Irish poet of the 18th Century, and Trinity College, which was established in 1591. Dublin is also home to churches dating to the late 10th and early 11th Century, the Zoological Gardens, one of the oldest zoos in the world, and Glasnevin, which contains a well-known botanical gardens.

Dublin is the political and economic center of the Republic of Ireland, it is home to the Bank of Ireland, the Dublin Stock Exchange, and many other key industrial corporations.
