The Jerudong Polo Club was built about five years ago and accommodates the dining, banquet, functions, meeting and boardroom facilities at the center of the Jerudong Park complex. The rooms of the Club are decorated with paintings, ornate carvings, high ceilings, balconies, chandeliers, exceptional timbers and unique carpets and decorative fittings.
Polo has been a popular sport with the Royal family and the club contains numerous photographs and memorabilia of past competitions, including games with dignitaries and other Royal Family members from around the world.
Designed by American landscape architect Ronald Fream, this par-72, 18-hole championship course is considered to be one of the best in southeast Asia. The clubhouse overlooks the course and a grand fountain surrounded by flowers and shrubs. The clubhouse contains golf trophies and personal memorabilia form the royal family, including a set of antique clubs.

Following the afternoon session of the Leadersí Retreat, the Leaders will walk onto the Polo Terrace, where the Sultan will read the Leadersí Declaration.

The Istana Nurul Iman (Royal Palace) is the Sultanís residence and the seat of Bruneiís government. It houses the Sultanís office as well as those of the Prime Minister (also the Sultan.) The Sultan and much of his family reside there.
Construction of the Palace began in 1980 and was completed in 1984, in time for Bruneiís independence celebration. It is one of the largest buildings in the world Ė 525 meters long and 228 meters wide. It has approximately 1,788 rooms, including a banquet hall for 4,000 people and another for 400. There is also a mosque with room for 1,500.
The Palace sits on a plateau above the capital on 300 acres of landscaped scenery. It is used for state functions, issuing of royal proclamations, the Sultanís birthday and other important events. It is closed to the public except for Hari Raya (the end of Ramadan) when the Sultan and his family receive approximately 60,000 visitors.
The President will depart Brunei International Airport en route Noi Bai Airport Hanoi, Vietnam on the evening of Thursday, November 16.
