Welcome to "Follow the President."

This section was built to help young Americans follow my journey through Africa. By providing information about the geography and cultures we will encounter during the trip, these pages will introduce many young Americans to a vital, new Africa -- an Africa full of political and economic promise, an Africa partnering with America to build a better future for all our children.

I invite you to explore this site and take advantage of its different parts: learn about a country; read a speech from the trip; see Africa through the lens of our digital camera; read about the issues we are partnering with Africa to solve; and tackle some of the activities "Follow the President" presents.
