Since 1970, every April 22, we have celebrated the environment and recognized the importance of conservation on Earth Day. This year, President Clinton commemorated the 30th anniversary of Earth Day by highlighting the tremendous progress America has made in improving our environment, while acknowledging that many challenges remain.
