The Sullivan School Family Center will offer
a place within a high-needs community for students and families to access enrichment
activities and resources, including academic club activities, technology, parenting
education, literacy education, expanded library resources, health advocacy,
and service learning through tutoring and mentoring activities for middle-school
youth.
PROVIDENCE SCHOOL DEPARTMENT, PROVIDENCE $586,789
The Renaissance Centers project will provide
a range of services to children and families in this Enterprise Community by
establishing three learning centers serving eight Providence Schools and their
neighborhoods. Each Center will develop a comprehensive program of extended
learning opportunities involving after-school, Saturday, and summer activities.
