The CEO Summit in Brunei is part of a series of private sector events that began at the 1993 APEC Summit in Seattle. Its purpose is to foster greater contact between leaders and the private sector and to underscore APEC's unique government-private sector relationship.

The CEO Summit will be attended by leaders, CEOs, members of the APEC Business Advisory Committee (ABAC) and California Governor Gray Davis.

APEC Dinner
Plenary Hall, International Convention Center

Leaders will be seated on a stage in the front of the hall. No remarks or toasts are scheduled during the dinner. Dinner will be followed by a cultural presentation in the hall. In addition to the Leaders, the dinner will be attended by ministers, ABAC members, CEO Summit participants, local heads of diplomatic missions and delegates from each APEC member.
