PRESIDENT CLINTON TO TRAVEL TO BALTIMORE, MARYLAND
Washington, DC ? President Clinton will travel to Baltimore, Maryland
on Thursday, July 13, 2000. The President will make remarks to the 91st
National Convention of the National Association for the Advancement of
Colored People (NAACP) at the Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore,
Maryland.
Press wishing to cover the President?s remarks to the NAACP Convention
or his Marine One arrivals and/or departures need not request credentials
in advance, but must show valid federal or state-issued photo
identification and press credentials at designated entrances to gain
access.
A local press pool has been formed to cover the President?s visit for
protective purposes. Coverage of specific events follows. Designated pool
organizations will provide information to other news organizations upon
request and should be contacted directly.
Times are tentative and subject to change.
