EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET WASHINGTON, D.C. 20503
STATEMENT OF ADMINISTRATION POLICY (THIS STATEMENT HAS BEEN COORDINATED BY OMB WITH THE CONCERNED AGENCIES.)
March 2, 1999
(House)
H.R. 603 - To Clarify the Application of the Death
on the High Seas Act
(Sherwood (R) PA)
The Administration strongly supports House passage of H.R. 603, which would
ensure that family members of victims of international aviation disasters
receive just compensation and equitable treatment. The bill would implement
a recommendation in the February 1997 report of the White House Commission
on Aviation Safety and Security.
