H.R. 437 - National Sea Grant College Program Reauthorization Act

The Administration supports House passage of H.R. 437, which would reauthorize
and amend the National Sea Grant College Program in the Department of
Commerce. The Administration will seek amendments to improve the bill,
including amendments to: (1) allocate a portion of program funds for grants
based on a national competition with peer review; and (2) retain authority to
address international coastal and marine issues.
