First Lady

While at the Pueblo of Acoma in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mrs. Clinton announced new funding to support the repair of San Esteban del Ray. Constructed over a period of 14 years beginning in 1630, San Esteban del Ray is one of the oldest churches still standing on American soil. In this photo, Mrs. Clinton visits with a woman from the Pueblo (5/21/99).
