Student Leaders for Racial Understanding
SLRU organizes students to dialogue openly with their peers and bridge racial divides

Student Unity Task Force,
A Columbia, SC effort to increase racial awareness and tolerance among high school students by providing training sessions focused on diversity issues, cross-cultural communication skills and conflict resolution skills for students, faculty and administrators in every public high school in Richland County (Two private high schools are also involved)

An organization founded to improve communication and cooperative involvement in community affairs between blacks and whites

Uniting Neighbors in Truth and Equality (UNITE)
A Huntington, WV organization -- made up of representatives from state and local governments, educational institutions, and businesses -- that support programs that promote diversity awareness and racial reconciliation

Unity in the Community
A Manassas, VA-based program that sponsors programs to educate the public about racial and religious tolerance

Unity Week: Seven Days of Harmony
A Tulsa, OK 1995 effort that lasted over a one-week period and featured events that raised the racial consciousness of the city

UNITY: Journalists of Color, Inc.
An Arlington, VA program for journalists of color to advance their presence and leadership in the news industry

VA Minority Forum, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
A Department of Veterans Affairs program that allows employees to safely and honestly discuss issues of diversity in the workplace

Voices United
A Miami, Florida program that promotes cross cultural understanding through the arts and provides a voice for young people

Washington Interns for Native Students
A program implemented through American University to provide Native American students with internships in various government agencies

World Communities of Louisville, Inc.
A program that celebrates cultural diversity in Louisville, Kentucky
